Tatiana Ramos

Tatiana Ramos was born in Brazil and took her first dance class at the age of 3. She started her professional career at 16. Dance has been part of her entire life. She began her training with Ballet and Jazz and later got into contemporary/modern dance and improvisation techniques. For over 10 years she performed with Ballet Phoenix, a professional dance company from her hometown. There she was involved in 30 different productions and also became the assistant director.. She moved to Toronto in 1997 and graduated from the School of Toronto Dance Theatre. Upon graduating she moved to Germany to perform with The Desperate Figures Dance Theatre, a dance theatre based in Mainz Back in Toronto Tatiana has performed with different dance companies like: Kahawi Dance Theatre; The Newton Moraes Dance Theatre; Earth in Motion World Indigenous Dance Company. Along with her career as a performer she also taught dance for children/teens for many years, sharing her passion for dance with them in different schools and community centers. For the past few years, Tatiana has dedicated her life to raise her two beautiful children; they have taught her to see the world in an entirely different way. At the moment she is getting her certificate in Creative Dance and is really happy to be joining Brazil Dance World teacher’s team!
